Business Expo set for Tuesday, March 13
Mar. 1, 2012
The Montezuma Area Business Expo, set for Tuesday, March 13, is a once-a-year indoor mall with a distinct Montezuma flavor.
The vendors consist of more than 60 retailers, home business operators and officials of church and civic groups.
The Expo, sponsored by the Montezuma Area Community Boosters, will be held from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. on that date.
A vendor application for the Expo is attached to this story.
A meal is offered. The main entree will be a roast beef sundae - roast beef over mashed potatoes - along with a drink and a cookie or a bar. Cost will be $5 for adults and $3 for children.
Admission to the Expo itself is free - and the Boosters will be giving away $200 worth of Monte Bucks during the evening.
Special attractions include Galaxy Inc. doing a make-it and take-it craft for kids; PALS with animals for adoption, and Monsanto's auto crash simulator.

Please note: You must load from the north parking lot, but park in the south lot during the show. This is simply a customer courtesy to the members of the general public who attend the show! The amount of exhibitor vehicles in prime parking spots could cause some people to drive on by without stopping.
You are encouraged to offer prizes, which will be given away during the evening.
Food will be available! The Montezuma High School kitchen staff will be serving a meal for a suggested donation.
Area businesses and industries, home business operators, groups and organizations all are encouraged to exhibit their goods and services at this show!
Your fee: $35 for Community Boosters members
$45 for non-members
Your fee will provide one 8-foot table and two chairs, along with advertising in area media and the chance to meet customers. By the way, extra tables cost $5, but that does not include an extra space. Extra tables must be used within your space, which is approximately 10 feet in width. If you want an extra space, you must pay the full fee for that space.
See you there!
