Three FFA state champs head for nationals!

Montezuma's FFA program won three state championships and took runnerup honors in another event April 13-15 at the state contest.
As a result, three teams of Montezuma students will be advancing on to national competition.
Montezuma won state championships in:
- Business management
- Marketing Plan
- Ag Communications
Business Management Team - Individually, Ben Steele placed first, Shawn Seaton was second, Matt Vavroch was eighth and Austin Hester was 11th. A total of 72 teams and 298 individuals competed.
Marketing Plan - Members were Zach James, Camie Widmer and Kaylee Doll. There were 22 teams.
Ag Communications - Victor Bushong placed first, Audrey Wheeler was fifth, Hilary Iverson was sixth and Emily Cashman was eighth. There were a total of 24 teams.
Conduct of Meetings Team - Members of the state runnerup team were Courtney Latcham, Shannon Sutfin, Alexa Wheaton, Katy McKee, Marisa Bushong, Levi Hoksbergen and Alex Bryan.
