Students challenged to use spiritual gifts

Mar 6, 2008

We all have spiritual gifts.

“We receive them when we become a Christian,” said Marlene Johnson, one of the leaders of the ecumenical youth group that met Thursday, March 6 in the Presbyterian Family Center.

“We use excuses, but God uses imperfect people,” Johnson said.

Johnson gave each student attending a card, which they wrote their name on. Then, the group named three to five spiritual gifts each individual has, in their opinions.

The gifts were written on the card, then the cards were given back to the students, who were challenged to use them during the upcoming week.
