7th grade boys' play 'best of the season'

Montezuma played its "best ball of the season," according to coach Mark Thomsen, and the seventh grade boys rolled to a 38-20 win over Sigourney. It was the Braves' second victory in seven ballgames.
Jay LeBahn dropped in 14 points for Montezuma.
"It was nice to get everyone in, especially Luke Goodman, who has missed almost the entire season with an injury," Thomsen said.
"Everyone played great team defense, took care of the ball and attacked the basket."
NEXT UP - The Braves are at North Mahaska on Monday, Feb. 1.
