Shooters will have kickoff meeting on Feb. 20

The kickoff meeting for the Montezuma Shooting Sports Club will be on Saturday, Feb. 20 at 9 a.m. in the high school lunch room.

Candidates for the team should bring a parent or legal guardian with them. Also, their $150 participation fee is due and it's noted that scholarship help is available.

Student-athletes also will need to bring their IowaDNR athlete card from the 2009 season.

Those who participated in 2009 will receive a 2010 forms packet in the mail. Completed forms must be returned at this meeting.

The Montezuma schools volunteer Scholastic Clay Target Program coaching staff includes Superintendent Dave Versteeg, Lana Taylor, Mike Gretz, Tom Sheets, Todd Price, Kenny Gregson and MaryJo Sheets.
